To our new patients. We also know how overwhelming it can be when you go to a new eye doctor. For this reason, we will do our best to welcome you. We will do everything we can to give you a pleasant visit. We want you to feel comfortable to ask any questions you may have.
In order to have a timely first visit, we will go over as much as possible on the phone. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. We can discuss the reason for your visit, including whether or not you need new eyeglasses or contact lenses. You can even fill out our new patient forms prior to your visit, which can really speed up your appointment time.
Our Story
TSO Lake Jackson is a family-owned and operated eye care practice committed to providing top quality care and customer service to our patients. We are a full-service eye care clinic that performs comprehensive vision and medical eye exams, treatment of eye infections and injuries, specialty contact lens fits, emergency eye care, as well as complete optical services. By staying up-to-date with the latest in eye care technology, we are able to ensure our patients receive the best care available. We take pride in the relationships we build with our patients, and our entire staff is dedicated to providing an exceptional experience.
We have been serving the Brazosport community and the surrounding areas starting with Dr. Sam Shandley since 1976. In 1994, Dr. Brian Shandley joined the practice, where he practiced with his father until Dr. Sam retired in 2008. In 2018, Dr. Brian’s son, Dr. Darrin Shandley, joined the team for a short while before expanding to open his own TSO in Bay City, TX. The most recent additions to the practice are Dr. Rachael McGee and her husband Dr. Cody Armstrong starting in 2022 and 2023 respectively
